Balances are integers of a scaled decimal
Cash is held to two decimal places and asset quantities to eighteen. No floating point arithmetic touches your balance at any point.
Every change is one transaction
A trade writes the cash movement, the position change and the ledger entry inside a single database transaction. It either all lands or none of it does.
Deposits are verified before credit
A deposit request does not move your balance. Funds are credited only when the incoming transfer is confirmed against the reference we issued you.
